This limited warranty is strictly restricted to the replacement of defective frames, components, or accessories and constitutes the sole remedy available to consumers. Maintenance or replacement within the warranty period will not extend the original warranty duration. This warranty does not affect any statutory consumer rights.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of parts or accessories.
- Improper assembly, incorrect installation, or work performed by anyone other than a certified Tezeus specialist without Tezeus’ express instructions.
- Damage or failure caused by accident, misuse, neglect, corrosion, or failure to maintain or service the product in accordance with the written instructions, the Tezeus app, or at specified service intervals.
- Unauthorized modifications to the frame or components.
- Failure to install mandatory mobile application updates.
- Abnormal use, including stunt riding, racing, or any riding style beyond the intended purpose of the e-bike.
2. Warranty Process
2.1 Initiation of Warranty Claims: To begin a warranty claim, you must first notify Tezeus Customer Support via support@tezeus.cn. To expedite the process, you may be required to provide valid proof of purchase along with a comprehensive description of the issue, supported by photos and/or video evidence. For your safety, we recommend pausing the use of the product until the issue is fully resolved. Tezeus shall not be held liable for any injuries or further damages resulting from the continued use of a product for which a warranty claim has been initiated; such risks are assumed solely by the consumer.
2.2 Diagnosis and Resolutions: Tezeus support team will collaborate with you to diagnose the issue and determine the appropriate course of action. At its sole discretion, Tezeus may provide one of the following remedies:
2.2.1 Self-Guided Repair: Technical guidance for simple, user-performed fixes.
2.2.2 Service Point Referral: Direction to an authorized Tezeus service point.
2.3 Prior Authorization Requirement All warranty claims must be coordinated directly through Tezeus. You must receive formal notification and authorization from us before proceeding with any repairs or modifications. Unauthorized tampering or third-party repairs prevent us from accurately assessing the defect and determining warranty eligibility. Consequently, the warranty will be rendered void if any repair is attempted by you or a third party without prior written consent from Tezeus. Furthermore, Tezeus will not reimburse any costs incurred for unauthorized third-party services.
3. Important Note
3.1 Like any physical activity, riding a bicycle may cause minor or major injuries or discomfort and may worsen or complicate underlying medical conditions or diseases. By choosing to ride a Tezeus bicycle, client assumes all responsibilities and risks for all such injuries or other medical conditions.
3.2 The Client acknowledges that operating a bicycle involves inherent risks, including traffic, weather, road conditions, and the negligence of others. The Client agrees that Tezeus limits its liability as provided in this section. The Client shall indemnify and hold Tezeus harmless from all costs, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of the client’s use of the bicycle. Except as expressly provided herein, the client assumes all risk for any loss, damage, or injury (including death) to persons or property arising from the possession, operation, or control of the bicycle.
